1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file placed by a website on your device (computer, phone, tablet). It remembers information between two pages or two visits. This policy covers the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, identifiers) used by vetexis.com, published by Vebota LLC (Vetexis brand).

No other cookie is set by the site. Fonts are hosted on our own servers: no request is sent to Google Fonts or any other external provider.
3. Audience measurement: what we collect
If you accept the “Audience measurement” category, we record, for each page viewed:
- the page address (for example
/blog) and the timestamp; - the domain name of the site you came from, if any (for example
google.com), never the full URL; - the browser language, device type (mobile, tablet, desktop) and screen resolution;
- the random identifier of the cookie
vx_vid; - certain interactions: clicking “Request a demo”, playing a call excerpt, submitting the contact form (without the form's content).
We do not collect : your IP address (it is not kept for audience measurement), your name, your email address, your mouse movements, or the content of forms. Statistics are processed on our own servers in the European Union, are not passed to any third party and are used only to understand which pages are viewed and to improve the site.
4. Legal basis and consent
Setting cookies that are not strictly necessary is subject to your prior, free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, in accordance with Article 129 of the Belgian Act of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications, Article 5.3 of Directive 2002/58/EC (“ePrivacy”) and Articles 6.1.a and 7 of the GDPR. The processing of audience-measurement data relies on that same consent.
In practice: the banner offers “Accept all” and “Refuse all” at the same level, no box is pre-ticked, navigation is never blocked, and nothing is measured until you click. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Controlsignal, audience measurement is off by default.
5. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can withdraw your consent as easily as you gave it, at any time:
- by clicking “Manage cookies” in the footer of every page of the site;

Withdrawal takes effect immediately: the cookie vx_vid is deleted and no further page views are recorded. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of measurements made before it.
6. Proof of consent
To be able to demonstrate your choice (Article 7.1 GDPR), we keep for each decision: the date and time, the random identifier of the choice, the version of this policy, the categories accepted or refused, the page on which the choice was made, the language, the browser ( user-agent string) and a truncated IP address (last octet removed, for example 91.180.24.0). These records are kept for 13 months and then deleted automatically.
7. Third-party services
The site embeds no third-party service that sets cookies: no Google Analytics, no Meta or LinkedIn pixel, no embedded video, no external chat. If you book an appointment via an external calendar tool (link from the Contact page), it opens on its publisher's site and is subject to its own policy.
8. Browser settings
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Blocking the cookie vx_consent only causes the banner to reappear.
9. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over the data concerning you, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
